Red Needle Cocktail
Red Needle is a drink created by singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen in Needles, California, in the Summer 1975. More than 15 years later, the drink re-appeared during recording sessions for the 1992 album The Future to assist Leonard and his musicians in their endeavours.
crushed ice
2 oz tequila (2½ English measures or about 60 mL)
cranberry juice, to top up the glass
Garnish:
1 slice lemon
Into one very tall glass about half full of crushed ice pour tequila, cranberry juice and give it a quick stir.
Garnish with a wedge of lemon.
Makes 1 cocktail.
