Flatbread with Brie, Cranberries and Walnuts with a Hot Honey Drizzle
A quick and easy holiday appetizer, this Cranberry Brie Flatbread has only 7 ingredients and can be whipped up in 20 minutes. The perfect snack for when you’re in a hurry and presents beautifully at Christmas time.
Flatbread:
1 prepared flatbread or naan
4 oz Brie cheese, sliced, rind removed
⅓ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup walnuts, toasted, chopped
1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp. fresh thyme leaves or 1 pinch dried thyme
sea salt
black pepper, freshly ground
Hot Honey Drizzle:
2 Tbsp. pure honey
¼ tsp. red pepper flake
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C/180°C fan, Gas Mark 6). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place flatbread on the sheet and brush with olive oil. Layer Brie slices evenly over the top.
Scatter cranberries and toasted walnuts across the flatbread. Sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the flatbread is golden and crisp.
While baking, heat honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 1-2 minutes, just until warm.
Drizzle hot honey over the baked flatbread. Slice and serve immediately.
