Flatbread with Garlic and Butter
This homemade garlic butter flatbread is soft, flavourful and super easy to make. Perfect for dipping, wrapping, or eating on its own, this quick no-yeast recipe gives you delicious flatbread in just a few minutes.
2 cups all-purpose flour, unbleached
½ tsp. sea salt
½ tsp. baking powder
¾ cup milk, warm
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Mix the Dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add warm milk, stirring until a dough forms. Knead for 3-5 minutes until smooth.
Rest the Dough:
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes (this makes it softer).
Prepare the Garlic Butter:
Melt butter and mix with minced garlic and parsley.
Roll and Cook:
Divide dough into 4-6 balls and roll out into thin circles. Heat a dry pan over medium heat and cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Brush with Garlic Butter:
While warm, brush with garlic butter and serve immediately.
