Pig Dip BBQ Sauce (Eastern North Carolina)

Refrigerate for 1-2 days before using so that the flavours have time to meld. Shake occasionally, and store for up to 2 months in the refrigerator.

4 cups distilled vinegar
2 cups ketchup
½ cup brown sugar
8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp. sea salt
1 Tbsp. Paprika
1 tsp. hot sauce, such as; Frank's Red Hot
1 tsp. black pepper, freshly cracked

In a medium-sized nonreactive bowl, combine all the ingredients and whisk to combine.

Makes 6½ cups of sauce.
