Artichoke Dip with Garlic
You don't need a special event for an excuse to make this crowd-pleaser of a dip. This cheesy, creamy, hot, melty Garlic Artichoke Dip is highly addictive and perfect for parties and also for watching Netflix in your yoga pants.
2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated, packed
1 (12 oz) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 Tbsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
6-7 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. sea salt
½ tsp. black pepper, coarsely ground
Garnish:
chopped parsley (optional)
To Serve:
pita bread, tortilla chips, mini naan, and/or crudités (vegetables)
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C/160°C fan, Gas Mark 4).
In a large bowl or the pie plate you’re baking this in, mix the softened cream cheese with the mayonnaise and shredded Parmesan cheese. Gently add in the chopped artichoke hearts, lemon juice and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the mixture into a 9″ pie plate and bake for 25-30 minutes or until it’s lightly browned and bubbly on top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
Serve hot with slices of pita bread, tortilla chips, mini naan or crudités.
