Chicken Seasoning

It's not just a good seasoning for chicken either. There are so many other ways to use this savoury seasoning. Season homemade stuffing, stews or casseroles too. This chicken seasoning recipe combines dried ingredients, each with its own unique flavour, to create the perfect seasoning. Delicious on cooked turkey or oven baked chicken breasts or used in so many other ways.

  • Savoury: basil, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme
  • Fragrant: garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed
  • Piquant: paprika, pepper, cayenne, dried mustard powder

2 Tbsp. dried basil
2 Tbsp. dried rosemary
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. dried thyme
2 Tbsp. ground paprika
2 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. onion powder
1 Tbsp. black pepper, freshly ground
2 Tbsp. dried parsley
⅛ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
½ Tbsp. sea salt
1 Tbsp. dried dill
1 tsp. ground sage

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

To use sprinkle over chicken before grilling, baking or frying.

To use as a rub, combine 2 Tbsp. of chicken seasoning with 2 tsp. brown sugar or to taste.
