Salmon Party Spread (Alaska)
A delicious snack to serve your guests for a last minute gathering. Set out some crackers, and this slightly smoky spread will be gone in no time!
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (7½ oz) can pink Alaskan salmon, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp. green pepper, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. sweet red pepper, finely chopped
2 tsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp. prepared horseradish
½ tsp. liquid smoke, optional
Garnish:
pecans, finely chopped or additional parsley

In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; stir until well blended. Cover and chill for up to 24 hours.
Transfer to a serving bowl; if desired, sprinkle with pecans or parsley.
Serve with crackers.
Makes 2 cups.
