Tartar Sauce with Capers and Shallots
With capers, shallots, and fresh parsley, this homemade classic boasts bigger flavour than the stuff most supermarkets sell in a jar. Perfect for serving alongside steamed crab legs.
1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
1⁄3 cup capers, drained and finely chopped
1 small shallot, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
10 cornichons, finely chopped
1 lemon, freshly squeezed
1 lemon, freshly zested
sea salt
black pepper, freshly ground
Stir ingredients in a bowl until combined.
Makes 1½ cups.
