Salty Dog

The Salty Dog is the saline version of the popular "canine" drink, the Greyhound. These two drinks are great, if you learn one you know the other; just switch the vodka with gin and salt the glass rim and then your Greyhound becomes a Salty Dog.

2 oz Vodka
5 oz grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed

Garnish:
salt for rimming
1 slice lemon or lime

Pour the ingredients into a collins glass rimmed with salt and filled with ice cubes.  Stir well.

Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge.

Makes 1 drink.
