Blood Oranges with Honey
This dessert is juicy and delicious and makes a beautiful presentation.
8 blood oranges
ΒΌ cup pure honey
2 lemons, freshly juiced
Garnish:
fresh mint sprigs
Working over a bowl, remove pith and peel from oranges with a knife; reserve any juice.
In a saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, freshly squeezed, and 4 cups water. Bring to a simmer; remove from heat. Add oranges and reserved juice, and let stand until cool.
Chill; serve garnished with mint sprigs.
Makes 8 servings.
