Moose Steak and Noodles (Aboriginal)

½ lb round moose steak, cut in serving pieces (0.25 kg)
3 Tbsp. shortening (45 mL)
1 cup water (250 mL)
½ cup celery, finely chopped (125 mL)
5 oz pkg noodles (140 g)
2 large onions
½ cup tomato ketchup (125 mL)
seasoning

Fry steak lightly in hot fat. Add onions and cook slowly. Add water, ketchup, celery and noodles, which have been previously boiled and drained. Let simmer for one hour.

Serve hot. Add seasoning just before serving.
