Roasted Pecans with Butter and Sea Salt
One of our favourite snacks and a perfect little nibble for the holidays, tailgating events, or other parties are these simple roasted pecan halves. They really are so simple to make that I'm not sure I should even call it a recipe. A quick, delicious recipe for roasted pecan halves that are great as an appetizer, snack, or on your favourite salad.
2 cups pecan halves
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
1¼ tsp. fine sea salt
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C/140°C fan, Gas Mark 3).
Toss pecans and melted butter in a medium bowl to coat. Add sea salt and toss. Spread pecans in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake until fragrant and slightly darkened in colour, about 15 minutes. Cool pecans on a baking sheet.
Makes 2 cups.
