Orange Granita

orangegranita3½ cups orange juice, freshly squeezed
½ cup sugar
1½ Tbsp. black pepper, freshly ground

Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to incorporate.

Pour orange mixture into a large baking dish and place in the freezer.

Scrape and crush lumps with a fork every half an hour until granita freezes, approximately 1 hour and a half.

Scrape with a fork to lighten texture before serving.
