Coleslaw (KFC)
If you have ever been to KFC you should know their famous coleslaw. Easy, peasy and creamy.
⅓ cup sugar
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup buttermilk, well shaken
¼ cup whole milk
1½ Tbsp. white vinegar
2½ Tbsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
½ tsp. kosher salt
⅛ tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
8 cups cabbage, finely diced
¼ cup carrot, shredded (1 medium carrot)
2 Tbsp. onion, finely grated
Mix together all of the ingredients in a large bowl except for the carrot and cabbage.
Once the mixture is smooth and well combined, mix in the cabbage, then carrot and stir to coat.
Refrigerate covered for at least 4 hours to give flavours a chance to meld.
Stir before serving.
