Swordfish
You might have noticed swordfish are famous for how they look. They have a long, flat bill that you guessed it – looks just like a sword! They use this bill to attack other fish for food. They can look quite dangerous because of this, and are one of the largest fish you’ll see. You will generally find swordfish in warm and temperate waters. They prefer areas of our planet that are not too cold all the time, so you may find them in places like the Indian Ocean.
Swordfish belong to a small group of fish that are not recommended for consumption by either pregnant or lactating women. For all other individuals, swordfish contains many potential health benefits, when taken in moderation. One of the health benefits of swordfish is that it serves as an excellent source of protein.
