Turkey Chili (Soup Maker)

turkeychilisoupmakerThis turkey chili recipe is perfect for the nights when you don’t feel like cooking. Put all of the ingredients in your Philips Soup Maker, close the lid, then sit back and relax until it’s done.

2 cups chicken or turkey broth
½ lb ground turkey, crumbled into small pieces
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
¾ cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (4.5 oz) can diced green chilies
½ cup onion, chopped
2½ tsp. chili powder
½ tsp. dried oregano leaves
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ tsp. black pepper, freshly ground

Garnish:
¼ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
¼ cup scallions, chopped

To Serve:
diced avocado
tortilla chips

Place all ingredients into the Soup Maker. Stir ingredients, close lid, select the 'Chunky Soup' program and then start.

When the soup is ready, open the lid and serve in bowls. Garnish with yogurt, cheddar cheese and scallions.

Top with diced avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, scallions and/or tortilla chips.
