Steamed Green Beans with Garlic and Lemon

This side dish is an easy, healthy recipe. Serve it for a quick, wholesome addition to lunch or dinner.
4 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, peeled and halved lengthwise
1 lb green beans, cleaned
1 tsp. lemon zest, freshly grated
ΒΌ tsp. sea salt
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and the garlic together over very low heat. Cook for 2 minutes, being careful to avoid browning the butter. Remove the pan from the heat, and allow the garlic to sit in the butter for an additional 5 minutes.
Bring a large saucepan filled with 1" of water to a boil. Lower a steamer basket filled with the green beans into it, tightly cover the pan, and steam for 4-5 minutes, until the beans are crisp tender. Drain the beans.
Remove the garlic from the butter and discard. Toss the steamed beans with the garlic-infused butter, lemon zest, and sea salt. Serve hot.
