Coffee Butter

coffeebutterAdd an extra jolt to your morning toast with this caffeinated spread; or, use it to baste all manner of grilled meats.

1⁄3 cup heavy cream
3 Tbsp. ground coffee
16 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
½ tsp. kosher salt

Heat heavy cream and coffee in a 2 qt saucepan over medium-high; cook until warmed through, 3-4 minutes.

Strain, discarding solids; cool. Add to food processor with butter and salt; pulse until combined.

Makes 1 cup.
