Maple Bacon Butter (American South)

Maple Bacon Butter is a sweet and savoury combination made with maple syrup, crispy bacon and unsalted butter. It's amazing spread on savoury breads or hot cakes and is melt in your mouth delicious.

½ cup butter, softened
3 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup

Stir together all ingredients in a small bowl. Place on a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap and roll into a 1½-2" log. Wrap and refrigerate until ready to use. Cut into ¼" thick slices to serve.

Perfect Pairings:
Smear on hot biscuits or top pancake or waffles for breakfast. Or use to brush on chicken or pork while cooking.
