Punch

Once upon a time, when Americans wanted to spread holiday cheer, they pulled out their ladles and mixed up a punch. Filled with the likes of Champagne, rum, and floating fruit slices, the punch bowl was once the life of the party, that is, until fruity Martinis banished the beloved punch bowl to frumpy obscurity. Call it retro chic, but punch is back with festive ingredients and modern twists. 

Holiday punches are one of my many favourites for entertaining.  Punch allows you to be very creative with ingredients and dazzling with display.
